Pronto
Pronto of Long Island provides food to families in the community in need. The majority of the food is provided by donations from Community Partners, Food Drives and the private sector. Pronto of Long Island's Thrift Center offers community members and their families the opportunity to shop for donated gently used clothing, shoes and bedding. The Thrift Center is open during regular business hours. Our Warehouse offers gently used Household Items. Pronto of Long Island's Warehouse is open during regular business hours. We are constantly receiving and picking up new items so our warehouse is always filled with great finds. Pronto of Long Island offers an immunization program called Shots for Tots the first three Wednesdays of each month from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. We ask for a $5 Administrative Fee/Donation for each child/student receiving an immunization. This program is provided for those who do not have health insurance coverage only and children up to 18 years old. Children are seen on a first come first serve basis.

SEPA Mujer
SEPA Mujer, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been working to support immigrant women on Long Island since 1993 by bringing together community members and advocates to speak out against injustice, provide access to opportunities and services, take a stand against domestic violence and other abuses, and push for social change. We work with individuals and in partnerships with other organizations (immigrant rights, civil rights, and domestic violence based).

Circulo De La Hispanidad
Círculo de la Hispanidad, Inc. has been serving the community for over 40 years. Through advocacy, Círculo seeks to unify community voices with the goal of empowering the underserved and protecting human and civil rights for all. Círculo proactively addresses issues and concerns such as economic development, education, leadership, development, health, education/services, and various other programs. We currently provide services to over 5,000 individuals and families a year. In January 2010, Circulo’s dream of building a state of the art community center finally became a reality. Circulo is a leading community agency on Long Island that continues to improve the lives of many individuals and families in need.

Hempstead Hispanic Civic Association
Provides community services for residents of the Village of Hempstead. Offers counseling and advocacy for housing development, recreational activities and instructional programs, guest speakers, parent leadership training and family counseling, and bilingual tutoring for elementary school children by high school Hispanic students. HHCA is a not for profit agency located in Hempstead. We are here to help our community! Stop by for more info.

Nassau County Office of Hispanic Affairs
The Office of Hispanic Affairs (OHA) is a Department of Nassau County tasked with serving as the liaison between County government and its large Hispanic population. OHA’s mission is to coordinate resources for the Hispanic community with the goal of educating, empowering and developing integration initiatives that will foster greater participation in Nassau County’s social, economic, and civic life. Our staff work with the County Executive’s Office and other County agencies on the research, analysis, and implementation of policy to ensure that the Hispanic community is afforded equal opportunities, meaningful engagement, and access to Nassau County government.
