Brian Vasquez ’20 is a native of Seaford, New York and recently graduated from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in May 2020. He graduated from Stony Brook University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Art in Political Science and History. Being the child of a Venezuelan immigrant mother and a Peruvian immigrant father, Brian has always had a passion for helping the immigrant community and intends to practice Immigration Law once he is admitted to the New York State Bar. Brian has worked with the Safe Passage Project, a non-profit organization that provides free immigration aid to children under the age of 21 and has directly represented clients as a Student Attorney with the Hofstra Law Asylum Clinic. Brian is currently working with Rivera-Julka Law Group, a private firm specializing in immigration law. Brian recently sat for the July 2020 New York State Bar and is currently awaiting his results.
