Pallvi Babbar, Esq. serves as the owner and principal attorney at Babbar & Associates P.C. Ms. Babbar established her firm in 2016. It is a general practice firm, but her primary practice areas are foreclosure, immigration, and family law. Ms. Babbar currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Queensborough Community College where she teaches criminology and criminal justice.
Ms. Babbar graduated magna cum laude Long Island University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in May 2009. She received honors from University Honors Program. Ms. Babbar’s legal knowledge, calming influence and psychological background brings logic and reason to emotionally charged situations. She obtained her law degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in May 2012. While in law school, she was active in the Student Bar Association and Real Estate Law Society Foreclosure Assistance Program. Also, she served on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society on the e-board as President.
Prior to establishing her own firm, Ms. Babbar gained legal and clerking experience by working as an associate at Office of Kenneth S. Pelsinger LLC and The Law Office of J. Stewart Moore P.C. While working at the Pelsinger Office, Ms. Babbar gained insight on real estate matters with a focus on foreclosures. Ms. Babbar did criminal defense work while employed with the Moore Office in Suffolk County. Ms. Babbar also served as a Law Clerk for Justice Michele M. Woodard for civil litigation.
Ms. Babbar volunteers her time with several organizations, bar associations and schools. She mentors law students at Touro Law Center. Ms. Babbar also serves on a legal panel for the Consulate General of India in New York City. She is an avid reader and in her spare time reads Gothic fiction, Bildungsroman, and Social criticism.
