The Long Island Hispanic Bar Association (“LIHBA”) is dedicated to advancing the status of Hispanics in both the legal profession and the communities we serve. Through mentorship, legal education, leadership development, community outreach, and the promotion of the fair administration of justice, LIHBA strives to foster diversity, equity, and excellence within the legal community.
On October 1, 2026, LIHBA proudly hosted its Annual Scholarship & Installation Gala at The Fox Hollow in Woodbury, New York. The evening brought together members of the legal profession, judicial officers, business leaders, community organizations, and supporters to celebrate excellence in the legal profession, recognize outstanding leadership, and support the next generation of attorneys.
Through the generosity of our sponsors, members, and supporters, the Gala raised funds in support of scholarships for deserving law students, helping to alleviate the financial burdens associated with pursuing a legal education. The celebration also provided an opportunity to honor individuals whose distinguished service and leadership have made a meaningful impact on the legal profession and the communities we serve.
The 2026 Gala reflected LIHBA’s continued commitment to fostering professional excellence, expanding educational opportunities, and strengthening connections within the legal community. We extend our sincere gratitude to our honorees, sponsors, scholarship recipients, members, and guests whose participation and generosity made the evening possible.
