The Long Island Hispanic Bar Association (“LIHBA”) is now accepting applications for its 2026 Board of Directors. LIHBA is seeking dedicated, community-driven leaders who are committed to advancing the Hispanic legal community, promoting access to justice, supporting mentorship initiatives, and strengthening professional connections throughout Long Island and beyond.
Serving on the LIHBA Board is an opportunity to play an active role in shaping the future of the organization and helping guide the direction of its programs, events, outreach initiatives, and member engagement efforts. The Association’s Board of Directors consists of up to fifteen (15) directors and officers who work collaboratively to further LIHBA’s mission and impact.
Available 2026 Board Positions include:
- President-Elect
- Vice-President of Programs
- Vice-President of Membership
- Vice-President of Community Affairs
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Board of Directors Positions
- Law School Member Positions (Non-Voting)
LIHBA encourages applications from attorneys, judges, legal professionals, and law students who are passionate about leadership, mentorship, advocacy, and community service. Applicants should be prepared to contribute meaningfully to the organization’s continued growth and success through active participation, collaboration, and engagement with LIHBA’s membership and initiatives.
