Food Drive 2020

From October 1, 2020 through November 20, 2020, the LIHBA held its annual food drive. Thanks to the generosity of our members and Sullivan Papain Block McGrath Coffinas & Cannavo, PC, Bower Law, PC, the families at Twin Oaks Country Day School, Sunshine Research Inc., and Big Apple Research, Inc., we collected food and over $3,700 in cash donations that were used to purchase supermarket gift cards. This year, the LIHBA was able to donate food and/or gift cards to the following community partners: Hempstead Hispanic Civic Association, Circulo de la Hispanidad, Pentecostal de Hempstead De Las Asamblea de Dios, Pronto and Sepa Mujer.
