Our Bay Shore and Hempstead offices have paid internship positions available for law students who are seeking to gain experience within the immigration field. Interns may be considered for post-graduation full-time positions. Interns will work directly with an associate attorney on ongoing cases before the Immigration Court and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. They will also work closely with our staff to provide follow-up communication to clients. The intern will also perform a series of clerical and administrative duties to ensure client files are kept up to date. Candidates should have strong legal research skills, ability to work independently, exercise good judgement, and have high attention to detail. Candidates must demonstrate ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and should have a strong desire to help immigrants. Spanish or secondary language abilities are very helpful.
